Alternatives to Veterinarians

There are many canine kin needs that never need to be taken to a veterinarian. This is great news because you can grow your knowledge and compassionate connection to your pup through caring for many of their needs.

Especially for children and teens who we hope to grow greater and greater connections to the Land and all kin, let’s grow our knowledge on what is within our abilities.

  1. Check out veterinarian Dr. Ruth Roberts’ downloadable booklet called “When Not to Go to the ER Vet.”

  2. Check out Pet MD’s list of “Herbal Remedies for Dogs” which guides readers to specific herbs for specific healing needs.

  3. And remember, Latinas and Dogs provides several recipes for sticky situations, day-to-day needs, and general healing issues.
